The shift from rural joint family culture to individual livings on urbanization has also brought an end to an old Era, depriving majority present generations from being well informed on the past geographical landscape vis e visa historical human values to their wards by great – grand / grandparents, particularly in India, though happening all over the Globe. B) Thus, all the running times hold significance for our PRESENT CONDUCT, in the shadow for the past historical perspective and also for Future layout plans for self /society/community with similarity to planning actions of state or central Governments. The visionaries in the past history, encountered different set of challenges, said to be much dangerous in each respect, for the layout of present PATH for our life JOURNEY. They made unprecedented sacrifices for (natural) sustainable ideology based principal rules for civilization. The ‘Sikh way of life’ introduced by its founding father, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in 1499. He brought a unique Philosophy & with a passage of times, it has grown in a big Sikh family of a Great Religion. Guru Nanak Sahib initially desired, apart from general teachings, that human life should be conducted in best honest, natural way, respecting law of eternal God ,who is only ONE for every ONE. He advised society to distance themselves from those prevalent rigid, religious practices of every kind and appealed Humanity to get liberated from outlived customs, being used for religious extortion or human exploitations.

C) A foreign invader for Arab, like Mr ‘Babar’ came on the scene during Guru Nanak Sahib’s Era, who initially (1523) plundered certain Indian territories and went back but later in 1525-26 changed mind to stay back for Governance, operating from DELHI. The local population was made to undergo difficult life, including forcible change of religion to Muslim faith with other option equally difficult to get tortured & eliminated. Guru Nanak Sahib challenged his barbaric approach through spiritual message & resented for non intervention of Almighty for atrocities, cruelties leased out on fellow citizens. The challenge by spirituality to Royalty could be linked or referred to have been in continuity of earlier deliberations between Prophet Abraham (1813 BC- 1638 BC) & King Nimrod for South Mesopotamia, (Iraq) when kingship was advised not to consider himself a GOD. It was contested that authority of GOD happens to be different, an independent AUTHORITY, which was also controlling his life & regulating activities for the COSMOS. The historians were surprised for an incidental chance of victory by a Muslim invader, who only had about 12,000 people (trained/untrained) with him but defeated an Army of Lodhi dynasty, numbering over more than one lack in 1525-26 at Panipat .The defeat resulted in the beginning for a different ERA ; Muslim – Mughal – Arab – non Muslim locals mix culture. The happening created its own space in the history on Governance during the following years on Indian soil, facilitating new ways of life/culture in the than India.

D) The Indian society by & large had been quite docile / humble nature, non believer in aggressions, heavily influenced for practice of (outlived –non updated) customs with classification of society in different TRADE BASED segments .This all happened despite so many spiritually genius, having blessed this land, but natives still got mislead. Even now, during current scientific times, they get carried away on certain questionable preachings, generally addressed exclusively for doctrine on salvation for betterment in next life. The leaders in spirituality remain silent & failed to suggest how to make present life, livable with methods & means to meet out basic human necessities. We, if peep in the real life of such (some) Teachers/ Gurus, will find their practical way for life is different than being taught to others.

E) The oldest human civilization story referred in one part of the world history relates to Prophet Abraham /Ibrahim addressed for being elders for Judas/Christianity & Muslim faith. Prophets on Asian Land are referred as Sri Ram / Sri Krishan / Laksham / Creator Shiva ji for the projected ancient past times even before B.C. times .But there had been many significant saints / Sufis, Jogies ,spiritual personalities who appeared on scene for believable immediate past period between 1000 – 2013 . Most of them interestingly retained their head hair and also been proud to maintain beard. Now during last immediate century period between 1900 – 2000, many successful spiritual leaders in the categories, such as Shri Shri, Nirankaries, Sh Bapu Asa Ram (in trouble), Divyjoyti (no more) also maintain beard, head hair but did not share its value with their followers for reasons to convey being partially a part of Punjab Sikh Diaspora to assume authorization for interpretations of Sikh scriptures. But they never advised their followers to adopt similar outlook! Similarly, a Sarswat Brahmin namely Sh Vivekananda representing Bengal & another respectable Brahmin from Gujarat, popular as Swami Daya Nanda has been projected wearing turban for the days when they visited Punjab scene for corrections in Hindu ways of life, especially who were getting in the fold of Sikhism. But now Brahmins do not wear Turban neither keep beard, nor teach others to do so, because challenges for those times stood receded after 1947 to Hindu myth & tables stood turned around against all others minorities in post partition!
F) The principal message in the very beginning in 1499 by Shri Guru Nanak Sahib was “Naa Koi Hindu-Naa Musalman”. He later expressed ‘Kiraat Karoo,Naam Japoo,Waand Shakoo’  to live by sharing wealth with those in disadvantage conditions, labor to honest living, respect human values without distinction or compartmentalisation for religions & advised to remember God. He did not endorse practice of IDOL worship & opposed division of community on religious parameters. He gave key words for natural human life in first pauri for Japuji Sahib. Guru Nanak Sahib practiced norms preached to others. He lived natural way of life with simplicity to be a role model & appealed others to conduct life accordingly. Most modern religious leaders make different set of norms for followers/society than their own way of living styles as referred above. Many a modern saints create fear psychosis, referring ancient customs for automatic punishments to disciples if they questioned teacher over depth for knowledge/wisdom with them on God .The individuals in spiritualism are getting themselves projected to be GURUS & closest to GOD. Many of them using psychological skills convince followers that they can reach GOD only through them & though a commoner like DHANNA JATT having been successful connecting GOD with his own honest belief without rituals prayers or mediators !

G) The community, thus with blessings of Guru Sahibs, emerged as entity being Sikhs are known for good nature, respectful, courageous, hardworking and enterprising members in the Global society. They in technical sense are not prepared to the objective for rule but to adjudicate JUSTICE of every kind as per the need of humanity in crises being denied privilege under human rights. Look into short span of time in history for 500 years and found Sikhism full of sacrifices and hard work which has enormously contributed towards building of New India. If not for them, the course of Indian History admittedly may have been very different.

Therefore, Volumes could be written on the contributions made by the Sikhs, who constitute less than 2% of Indian population. Thus, necessity for composing of a short ‘knowledge Bank’, has been felt necessary which may contain significant historical events relating to spiritual lessons, principles of life, education, Governance methodology, pictures relating to the development of humanity in Punjab chapter, with few important references to ancient pre & post B.C. times in context of to present human journey. The historical information listed may be useful for coming generations in SELECTION for correct LIFE POSITIONS during internal/external-religious-political  FUTURE CHALLENGES, being a part of Indian soil or on Globe.
